If you recall from the other day I was detailing my latest eBay buying disaster. I just wanted to go a bit further with and and update where we’re at.
Short version: still no refund or item.
I ended up opening a case with the eBay Resolution Center after not hearing anything since Friday. Of course that got a response fairly quickly with the seller asking if I’d like “some” money refunded or a replacement item (didn’t we cover this already?). I replied saying that I only wanted a refund – a FULL refund, not just some of it. There is no way in hell that I would take only SOME of my money back when I have no actual item in my possession. In some cases, I’d want want a partial refund even if I did end up with a working part – because going through this crap is just stupid.
I got another reply back asking if I would take “half” of my money back. Hell no. As I said, I have no part and nothing to show for “half” of my money except a huge pain in the ass to deal with. I replied again stating that is not acceptable and now I’m waiting to hear back.
I will settle for no less than a full refund. I don’t even want a replacement part from this person. I just want my money back. How hard is that?
