Greetings to Ed at State Farm! Actually nice to see someone in that particular sector checking on these things. Frankly, State Farm is one of the lesser offenders of this nonsense - but gets lumped in none-the-less. My biggest gripe about this stuff is probably just the competition. So while saying "driver's who switched from company A to company B saved X dollars" is technically true... can't people just be reminded to call around and talk to an agent anywhere to see if they can do better? That's what it's about... saving money. But instead it has be about saving money only with company A and fuck company B. Then there's the whole point of advertising though - you don't want to make money for other people, just your company. Can't fault there... just wishing there was a better way is all.

Where I do get annoyed at State Farm, personally, is that I keep getting stupid fliers in the mail for their crap that I will NEVER purchase or talk to anyone about. And even when I try to contact someone in that local office to stop the generic stupid mailings, they keep coming.
